TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BOOKINGS:

Thanks for choosing The Aviary for your next recording session.

PAYMENT:

All payments are to be made via bank transfer unless a cash transaction is agreed upon by The Aviary prior to payment. Final payment of all sessions is required at the start of each session. All payments are subject to GST. Once the business is out of the way, we can all just focus on making music!

DEPOSIT:

All bookings require a deposit to secure the dates, to be paid via bank transfer.

Failure to pay the deposit will mean that any “pencilled” dates can be given to other clients.

A deposit of 30% of the booked time is required and is non-refundable.

CANCELLATION:

If you need to cancel the session for any reason, you will forfeit the deposit.

If a cancellation is made before 7 days prior to the start of the session, no extra fee is charged.

If a cancellation is made 7 days or less, prior to the start of the session, an additional 20% of the booked time is required to be paid (totalling 50% of the booked time).

If a cancellation is made less than 48 hours prior to the start of the session, full payment for the booked time is required.

We understand that circumstances change for unknown reasons and are sometimes out of our hands. The Aviary reserves the right to use it’s own discretion in these matters and to apply the appropriate level of it’s cancellation policy.

RESCHEDULING:

If a session is rescheduled more than 7 days prior to the booking, then the paid deposit will be transferred to the new dates booked, providing those new dates are within 30 days of the original booking (providing dates are available). If the rescheduled dates are more than 30 days after the original booking, you will be required to pay a new deposit.

If rescheduling happens less than 7 days prior to the start of the booking, then the deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required.

Again, The Aviary reserves the right to use it’s own discretion in these matters and to apply the appropriate level of it’s cancellation policy.
